What are the requirements for extending a DTV visa at the Hua Hin Immigration office?

I am preparing my first 6-month extension for my DTV visa at the Hua Hin Immigration office, and I would really appreciate some recent feedback from anyone who went there.
I have two quick questions:
1. My current TM30 (and lease agreement) is only valid for 3 months, but I am applying for a 6-month extension. Does Hua Hin Immigration strictly require the TM30 to cover the full 6 months, or is it fine as long as it is valid on the day of the application?
2. Do they systematically ask to see the proof of the 500,000 Baht bank balance again for this extension?

TM30 does not expire or have a valid until date, it's only replaced by the next TM30. It's been reported for extensions immigration is asking for the 500k seasoned for 30 days before applying.

You should visit Hua Hin immigration office and get the latest DTV extension requirement list. They do ask to see the 500k balance and for it to be seasoned accordingly.
