I’m looking help This year, I visited Thailand twice for short layovers—each time staying one night before returning to the UK and then back to Vietnam. I used the digital arrival card both times and didn’t need a visa Now, I’m planning a four-day trip and wondering if I can still use the digital arrival card or if I’ll need a visa

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder can enter Thailand without a visa for up to 60 days. For a four-day trip, the digital arrival card (TDAC) must still be filled out upon arrival, as it is required for all non-Thais regardless of visa status. There are no issues with entering Thailand for a third time under these rules.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

You won't have any issues, you do not need a Visa and everybody that is not a Thai citizen must complete TDAC everytime they arrive in the country, whether they have a visa or not, so yes you have to do it.

Ok. I'll explain to you briefly.

As a UK passport holder, you're allowed to enter Thailand with visa exemption for 60 days (plus 30 days extension at Thai immigration bureau)

DTAC Is a Digital Arrival Card. You always need to fill the form for free online before your entry. It's nothing to do with visa.

Its amount of days in country and not amount of entries. No issues for entering 3rd time with your history.

Dont listen to the stupid tik toks, instagrams etc etc saying only two entries a years thats people staying full length 60 + 30 days then doing another straight away.

it is 2 different things. You need to fill in the DTAC everytime before your entry. You don't need a Visa as a UK passport holder, unless you've recently abused the visa exemption. Since you're a legit tourist, you'll have no prob. I guaranteed 100%. Just be prepared with outbound flight ticket and your accommodation.

no. No problem then. You don't have to apply. You're a legit tourist. So, you'll have no trouble. Waste of money to apply for the visa.

UK passport doesn't need a visa for up to 60 days. It's on the UK govt website. The TDAC is your arrival info. Any arrival you do, you fill it in because it's an arrival card. So what do you need help with?

the TDAC is just your travel info. Nothing to do with visas.

There is no choice between "digital arrival card or visa". EVERYBODY (except when arriving with a Thai passport) has to fill in the arrival card. Your choice of visa - or lack of visa - is irrelevant.

no need a Visa. Just fill in the DTAC again before re-entry. Simple. You'll have no trouble since u haven't abused the system.
