Could I ask if anyone has recent experience of doing the one year extension of an o-visa, based on marriage to a Thai, or having dependents....in Chiang Mai.
Could I have a list of required documents for both options please?
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent experiences indicate that to extend a one-year O-visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen or having dependents, it's advisable to visit the Chiang Mai Immigration Office near the airport. There, you can obtain handouts detailing the required documents for both options. Additionally, if financial requirements are a concern, obtaining a one-year Non O visa in Savannakhet is an alternative, which does not require proof of finances.

Two total different things, best is to visit the Chang Mai Immigration Office near the airport and ask the hand out for an extension based on married to a Thai national and the hand out for an extension based on being married to a foreigner, having a thai child, having a foreign child study in thailand, having a foreign spouse working in thailand, have a foreign spouse with temporary stay inside thailand, just pick one of these options as i do not type all the requirements
