What are the requirements and tips for successfully applying for a DTV visa at the London Embassy?

Hi all, looking for some recent feedback on the London Embassy for the DTV.

I have plenty of funds (was £25k in Premium Bonds - now £10k after withdrawing to begin seasoning... and a £250k S&S ISA), but like most Brits, I don't leave cash sitting in a current account. I've only held >500k THB continuously in my current account for 1 month so far, not the full 3 month seasoning as I am reading is needed.

Has anyone successfully applied through London by showing a "paper trail" (e.g., 1 month current account statement + 2 months of official NS&I/ISA statements showing where the money came from)?

I've read that recently London is enforcing the 3-month seasoning rule to stop loans being used as evidence, but I'm hoping that I can evidence UK investment/bonds well above the thresholds as proof the funds are actually my own.

Any tips on how to format the evidence or if you included a cover letter would be really useful.

I got mine with a months statement not 3 months as suggested. Also as John has said it needs to be in a standard bank account or instant access cash isa or savings account. Stocks and Shares or premium bonds wont work as they are not classed as instant access accounts. I just uploaded a 1 month statement from my cash savings account with the appropriate amount in it and was approved

London doesn't require more than a couple of weeks seasoning. But the funds must be in a traditional bank account
