TLDR : Answer Summary
To assist your Thai partner in obtaining a Visitor Visa to Canada, it's recommended to use resources such as www.canadavisa.com for guidance. Essential requirements include showing financial stability and providing a sponsor letter. It's crucial to demonstrate solid reasons for returning to Thailand, like an employer letter with planned vacation dates. Obtaining a visa can be challenging, especially with a Southeast Asian passport, and it could take 12-16 months.

12-16 months if you have everything and keep in mind they probably won’t like it there

Hi, there is a very helpful forum on the

I have obtained 2 visas for my GF, she now has a 10 year multi-entry visa. Learned a lot from the forum, first visa app failed. After the failed attempt I wrote my MP and he provided a reference letter.

Rock solid reason to return is key. Ideally, employer letter showing her vacation dates and when expected back, at least

She’ll have to show money in the bank, land deeds or reasons why she will return to Thailand. Need a sponsor letter from you. It’s not easy but can be done.

Obviously a good site would be the Canadian Embassy if you are in Thailand.
