TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of flying with service dogs from Phuket to Koh Samui, as they are relocating to Thailand from the US. Responses indicate that Bangkok Airways operates in Koh Samui but there is uncertainty about pet policies on domestic flights, with some suggesting dogs may need to travel in cargo. Nok Air may allow small dogs but typically not in the cabin. Additionally, there are concerns about international regulations on service animals, and the potential rabies risk in Thailand could complicate the return to the US.

Thailand is very high risk for rabies so it might be hard to take your dogs back to the US if you’re planning on going back. Just an FYI if you haven’t looked into it already 😄👍🏼

I think you're going to run into the problem where coming from America, most countries don't recognize service animals. Your dog is a pet.

I guess you'll do import paperwork at the airport in Phuket?

Can go by road ( taxi/van) and ferry if not flight.

Currently I don't know of any domestic airlines that will allow pets on board.

Bangkok Airways owns the airport in Koh Samui.
