What documents are required for the e-visa application to Thailand and is my work eligibility sufficient for the visa?

Hey I have a couple of questions about the visa and I will appreciate some help

1. During the application via the e-visa platform. It asks for plane tickets and accommodations. How should I approach this? I was under the impression that I would get the visa first and go whenever I want for how long I want (without exceeding the 180 days per year). Shall I book something refundable for how long and when (relative to the visa application date) and do I need a round trip ticket?

2. I'm working as a software engineer full time (permanent) in the Netherlands (not a european citizen), and I'm allowed to work remotely with my company although I have limited days per year that I can work from abroad (the company is flexible with that). I don't plan to stay working with the same company for long and perhaps will also leave the country (Netherlands). Will this be eligible for the application or do I need a fully remote job? The company uses "NHG employer’s statement 2024-1 2.0" for the employment statement, which doesn't specify the remote work eligibility.
Answer summary
The user inquires about the e-visa application requirements for Thailand, specifically regarding plane tickets and accommodation proof during the application process. They are confused about booking travel arrangements and whether they should secure refundable tickets. Additionally, they seek clarity on their remote work situation as a software engineer based in the Netherlands, questioning the necessity of having a fully remote job for their visa application.

A lot of these guys endlessly bitch about taxes back in their Western nanny states—countries that actually give them free healthcare, infrastructure, and a safety net—yet they don’t seem to mind getting taxed in Thailand, a place that offers them basically nothing in return while forcing them to beg for yearly visa extensions. These old expats are complete cucks to the Land of Smiles; they’d sell out their own mother for another 12-month stamp and some ladyboy cock

Worrying too much about nothing. Leave your money in your home country and just bring in (to Thailand) what you need to live. Tax problem solved.

Try if you can to move the funds from the sale of your home before taking up "residence." Even better if it's not in the same tax year as you move here.

If you transfer the money this month or June. Then come live here in August, that's under the 180 days period for 2026. But check with a professional to be 100% certain.

You don't actually believe that Thailand is capable (or desirous) of taxing you for money you made off of the sale of a house in your home country, do you? And if this were indeed the case, which it is not, how ridiculous would you be to pay it. This is a complete and utter myth. Think covid-19 level BS..
