TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a Certificate of Entry (COE) to Thailand as a parent of a Thai national, you must book a stay in one of the 12 government-approved quarantine sites for foreigners. Additionally, you are required to have health insurance covering COVID-19 with a minimum of $100,000 USD. It's advisable to check with your local Thai consulate for specific requirements, as they may vary by location.

All the details you get from your Thai Embassy, As this is all new there is no database available with the procedures of each and every Thai Embassy world wide. Please contact the one in your region, thanks

Different consulates have different rules on how to get one.
So you need to contact the local Thai consulate in your area and find out exactly what they want.

This was posted in another group last night. The cost in UK currency was ยฃ47 a month
. No worries. There was another about a week or so ago that I can't find, and the guy had got a year insurance for ยฃ450 which sounds a better deal, but I would certainly be shopping around.
