Hi, i'm currently working in TH with the usual Non-B visa extensions and WP. Is it possible to hold a Elite Visa at the same time? The Elite visa would only serve as a "safety option" if my contract would be terminated. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question is whether someone currently holding a Non-B visa can also possess a Thai Elite Visa concurrently. Responses varied, with some contributors suggesting eligibility for the Elite program while retaining existing visa privileges, but the need to confirm with the Elite Visa Office was emphasized. It's noted that the Elite Visa is not meant for employment, and generally, one cannot hold two different visa types at the same time, indicating a need to cancel the Non-B visa before obtaining the Elite Visa. The processing time for the Elite Visa can also range from one to four months.
You need to talk to Elite Office for detail. As far as I know, you can have Elite program privilege (not visa) when you have another visa/extension. But so far I don't know someone buys a new Elite when he keeps another visa. If I remember right, there was one guy who changed his Elite visa to Non-B and kept using his other Elite privilege until his membership expired.
Great question. The answer (to my knowledge) is yes - BUT confirm with the elite visa people.
You can have an Elite Visa, and when you're employed, you can have the Elite Visa "suspended", where you're legally on the Non-B visa/ Extension of stay based on employment. However, when the Elite Visa is "suspended", it is still "counting down" and will expire as normal.
Again, confirm with the Elite Visa people on that.
