What are the NYC Consulate requirements for applying for a Thai visa with funds in a brokerage account?
Need some advice/suggestions for applying through NYC Consulate.
Anyone got approval through NYC consulate? I have all my money in brokerage account so transferred all cash to my chase checking account today. Can I apply after 10 days? I saw some posts about UK consulate is okay with fund available for 10 days in bank account. So, I’m curious what’s the NYC requirement?
Also what should I put as last embarkation? I’ll fly with Emirates so is it Dubai or New York?
Do I also show brokerage account statement so that they know I have the fund for a long time in my brokerage account so that they know how the money came into my checking account?
And how much time does it take normally?

NYC seems stricter lately with proof consistency and financial documentation. From what I’ve seen, applicants with clean bank statements, stable income flow, and clearly organized supporting docs tend to move smoother.

Check the posts for NYC approvals. Last year NYC accepted the 500k held in brokerage accounts and had no seasoning requirement. You should contact them to see if has not changed. Dubai will be last point of embarkation.
