I forgot to do my antigen test on day 7.

Is this going to cause any problems anywhere?

(I'm getting around to it, and have been in Thailand 9 days now).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster forgot to perform their required antigen test on day 7 of their stay in Thailand and is concerned about potential consequences. Commenters express that there seems to be a lack of clear guidelines regarding the tests, with many sharing their experiences of not receiving adequate instructions. Suggestions include completing the test now and informing the hotel, as delays likely won't cause serious issues, especially if no official policies are being strictly enforced.

When I applied for sandbox paid for test at airport on arrival and a day 6 but that was refunded as rules changed they did give me a second test ti takeaway but didn’t have to report anywhere

If your hotel gave you clear instructions, just do it now and send them the result to make them happy. A day or 2 dlate doesn't matter. Could always pretend you did the test on time but forgot to mail it to them if that gives you peace of mind. (But don't worry about it really)

If your hotel didn't give you any instructions or was vague and confusing about what you had to do, then don't bother with it and use it later on for yourself.

Then you can do whatever you feel like. There is no clear official policy which is consistently followed.

In theory the test result should be recorded in the morchana app, but this app seems to be a complete mess which hardly anyone can be bothered.

My hotel gave me clear instructions about the self test to mail it to them (they never even mentioned morchana app). So that's what I did. This seems to be the usual way.

If they don't give any instructions at all, seems the hotel is just assuming you'd use the useless morchana app which doesn't work. Don't worry about it.

The hotel gave me a kit when I checked out. Six days later I did the test and sent a picture of the result back to the hotel. Haven't heard from them or anyone since.

I came in 3 weeks ago and still have mine,no one gave me any info about taking and where to send it nor did I get any message asking for it. Probably come in use later for going to some of the smaller islands.

Doubtful its seems to be a disorganised mess with no clear instructions from Goverment
