Answer summary
The conversation discusses the immigration situation in Koh Samui for someone who has stayed 185 days within a 12-month period after arriving from Singapore. Commenters mention that Koh Samui has relaxed immigration practices, but staying over 180 days can pose challenges. It's suggested to be cautious with visa status, as being denied entry could be likely with extensive stay durations. Additionally, there is a light-hearted reference to becoming a tax resident and discussions regarding the number of days spent in Thailand.

Renata Basta doesn't matter.. Not a condition of being tax resident... Everything he draws cash at a ATM or uses credit card.. Assessable income... 🤣🤣🤣
Yes I didn’t realise I had done that much travelled all over Thailand very slowly - wanting to avoid winter for another month in Samui, then I’d be heading back home
I seriously wouldn't try and come in visa exempt again, in fact I wouldn't even suggest trying a tourist visa. Your chances of being denied entry are pretty high at that level.
