A question for those who've used the Cheang Wattana visa appointment booking system.
I booked an appointment to extend my over 50 extension, made the appointment a week ago. My appointment date is still 2 weeks out being on September 16th.
This is my first experience of using the appointment booking system.
The appointment booking process is simple and at the end of the process it tells you to take the confirmation email or sms, that will be sent to you, to CW when you go for your appointment.
So 1 week on and I've still no email or sms confirmation of the booking, is this normal, will I get a confirmation, will I still get my appointment time if I turn up with no confirmation as stated?
I've just been back into the system and my appointment is still there.
Interested in any experience from those who've used the system before.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about using the Cheang Wattana visa appointment booking system to extend their visa. Despite successfully making an appointment a week prior, they had not received any email or sms confirmation a week later. Community members suggested checking spam folders, printing the appointment confirmation page, and arriving early on the appointment day. There were also questions about whether the system is exclusive to Bangkok residents and requests for document lists for the extension process.
