IMMIGRATION CLOSURES JULY 2026

ALL Immigration offices will be closed the following days 

Tuesday - 28th 

Wednesday - 29th 

Thursday - 30th 

That means that week they are only open Monday and Friday.. 

Remember if you have a stamp expiring on a day the office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go to the office the very next day they're open you can get your extension like normal and not be charged for overstay. 

Entry/Exit points to thailand (land borders/airports) are open like normal, they don't close for holidays

What if my extension expires Saturday 4th? If i go on Monday the 6th will i need to pay the overstay fee?

Why leave your extension so late, you do know the extension is added to your current permitted to stay date don't you?

I answered that, I said if your extension expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go the very next day they're open you will not be charged for overstay.
