Hi All,

My STV ends per 30/09/22, I have only used 1 extension. I heard that it cannot be extended with the regular 30 days extension. Anyone done it? Or with the 60 dayd covid extension? Thanks

maybe like last year they will extend the visa again for another year but they only announced i think ten days before it expired

I would go to immigration 2 weeks before expiry and apply for 2nd STV extension. STV ends Sep at this stage so hopefully as long as you apply before end of Sep you will be ok.

I'm also on STV and this is my understanding.

Can not change STV to any other visa in Thailand you must leave.

Have to wait see if they extend again in September so you can use your other two extensions. (Stupid rule)

The Covid extension program ends July 25th.

Per the rules of the STV, it cannot be changed to any other kind of visa.

If they end the STV program, then your ONLY option is to leave Thailand and start a new entry.
