Hello, I am applying for a Thai child support visa extension and need clarification on the financial requirements. Do I need to have 400,000 baht in my Thai bank account for 2 months, or is it sufficient to show the amount at the time of application? I would appreciate any clarification on this. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai child support visa extension, you do not need to maintain 400,000 baht in your bank account for two months prior to the application. The important requirement is that the amount must be in your account at the time of application. This has been confirmed by different immigration offices, including anecdotal evidence from users in Bangkok and Prachinburi.

It depends on your office, mine says as long as it's there on the day of the application. (Prachinburi)

It’s seven days prior to the application for extension of stay based on custodian of a thai child.

EDIT

7 days requirement was from one immigration. At the immigration in Bangkok it’s sufficient with the funds in your bank account at date when you apply. I suggest you ask your immigration, but there’s no two months seasoning requirement as for marriage.
