My husband is applying for his dependent DTV visa - we have received conflicting information on the financial requirements and everything. The funds are in my bank account only. Do I need to show 1 million baht or 500k? I thought 1 million but now I've been told on multiple occasions 500k. We are applying from Jakarta. Any tips, general clarifications, shared experiences are welcomed and appreciated. Ty.

For dependant DTV visa the requirements list 500K, so that should preferable be in an account owned by applicant, in this case your husband. When there would be no financial requirements for dependants, the system would not ask for proof...

When he does not have it in an own account some embassies accept 1M at your account together with a sponsor letter.

I think he needs to have his own 500k in his bank account (which is my spouse case) or your account needs 1B + sponsorship letter.

He will need a sponsorship letter from you, and you should have the equivalent of bt1million to be on the safe side, as changes are made weekly as abuses are tallied. What was allowed last week isn't automatically what is allowed this week.

Unless something changed the last few days it's what is = 500k bath in any account/accounts with the applicants name on statement in total. Can be 200k in 1 account and 300k in another

Required amount is 500k, I'm currently applying as well via Jakarta. Yet I don't have experience with a dependent dtv, it probably is 1mill if it's for 2 people. Hopefully someone more experienced will give u the info you need.
