TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on renewing their STV visa in Bangkok, Thailand, and asks about the necessary steps and documents required for the renewal process. I think you had better ask your local immigration office in advance.

This (32, at the bottom) is the general information from Bangkok Immigration office website. You may need a bit of time if they ask exactly for these.

Great find, thank you! I read it and there's a line that's concerning (or I'd like more information about)

>Document for place of residence (e.g. Hotel, Condo)

What exactly is this?

Liam Campbell:

Generally, you can apply for an extension of stay up to 30 days in advance before your current stamp ends. I suggest going to immigration and ask them what exactly a

"Document for place of residence (e.g. Hotel, Condo)"

Are. Are these documents a TM30? Pre-paid lease? etc.?

And... can you please let us know what they expect?

Thanks!

I guess it could be proof of payment for accommodation for specific period. But right you better to check in advance.

And right now we don't know how long would it take to get "ASQ certificate from Department of Disease Control" if they ask for exact one.

@Ellie ******
Isn't the ASQ certificate from the Department of Disease Control issued automatically when a person leaves ASQ?

You need to go to Muang Thong Thani temporary immigration office for STV extension.

MTT may be the nearest office to you, or maybe not.

Fee of 90 days extension for STV would be 2,000thb unlike all other extension...

This was a recent post seen re STV extension...

Suggest you ask your local immigration office for their list of requirements

"I was in Nonthaburi to extend my STV visa. Here's what the officer asked...

1. Copy of passport

2. Copy of TM6

3. Copy of STV visa page on your passport

4. TM7, use the last updated one or get it from Immigration Office. With a photo affixed.

5. STM 2. Declaration that you're aware about overstay and the penalties.

6. ASQ certificate letter stating that you've completed 14 days quarantine.

7. Some kind of proof that you indeed stayed at the ASQ, i produced my ASQ hotel receipt ( room charges )

8. Health Insurance showing coverage amount, line by line items in details of IP, OP, Covid coverage amount.

9. Rental. To state clearly rental period when to when, at where, 4 signatures either passport or Thai ID at the end of agreement ( the usual standard contract ). If the rental's address is in Bangkok, you can only extend visa in Bangkok. Rental period should cover at least 3 months more.

And sign at every page."
