Hello together, who has information about the Dependent Visa? In the past, it was a requirement with the O-A Visa that a spouse must be 50 years old and the younger one automatically gets the O-A visa, which has now been changed, that both must be 50 years old for the O-A Visa. I am looking for a way to get a year's visa with my 47 years and I came across the Dependent Visa, but according to the statement it is not officially available at the embassy it is thisd visa what I need the other Case is the ED Visa for me.... Thanks o Lot for infos

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Dependent Visa allows spouses of Non Immigrant O-A visa holders to stay in Thailand. It previously allowed for the spouse to be under 50 years of age, but recent changes require both partners to be 50 or older for the O-A visa. However, if one partner holds a Non Immigrant O-A visa, the younger spouse may still qualify for a Non Immigrant O visa.

nothing changed and a person younger than 50 years of age never did get the Non Immigrant O-A visa and specially not automatic, you still have to apply for a Visa. If you are 47 years old and your wedded partner has the Non Immigrant O-A visa you can still get the Non Immigrant O visa based on having a wedded partner with a long stay in Thailand.

you are saying that in the case of two married expats one over 50 and another below 50 the Husband gets an O A visa the wife can get a non immigrant O based on his?
