Hi! I have done my Non O retirement visa renewal 2 too times using the statement of the pension income issued by my embassy. Is it still the same? I've heard they are asking for a complet year of money transfers into a Thai bank account. Thanks
Answer summary
The process for renewing a Non-O retirement visa in Thailand still allows the use of an affidavit of income from the embassy, which typically suffices as proof of financial support. However, if your embassy no longer provides this document, you may need to demonstrate a year's worth of monthly income transfers into a Thai bank account, specifically showing the average of 65,000 baht per month.

They shouldn't be asking for that because you're using the affidavit of income embassy notary letter and if you're from a country whose embassy here still issues that document that's about all you need (although some want to see how you get that money, pension, etc). The only time you have to show a year of incoming transfers is if your embassy doesn't issue the income letter and you're using monthly income method by international transfer method <- that's where you show the 65K baht a month transfers for the previous 12 months. Certainly go to your immigration office before your extension is due an see what's what..
