Because this is Thailand and things are subject to change which is why the recommendation is to ask Immigration for their current list of requirements which is what the OP is doing

There are over 70 provinces in Thailand and each can have a different interpretation of the requirements, the Admins cannot post 70+ lists

well the CW does quite a high percentage of expats and just because the provinces can’t agree does not mean it’s not worthwhile to post it. Why should relevant information be only from Admins and not shared by the members of this group? Hardly any work to add it 👍😀
