Has anyone been at the Chaeng Watanna immigration office lately?

Last time I was there late December I saw signs you needed proof of vaccine or recent covid test but no one was really checking.

Is it still the same?

I have a Thai friend working in the building and she says they need to provide a negative test every 3 days.

Thanks in advance for any updates on this :)

Answer summary

Recent visits to the Chaeng Watanna immigration office indicate that proof of vaccination and a self-administered COVID test may be required for entry. Updates suggest that visitors are required to fill out a form and show their vaccination card. It appears that the level of enforcement may vary.

Hi Petra! I have heard similar things, or making non vaccinated people go through more rigorous checks. <3

there are reports from last week of Immigration at CW asking unvaccinated people without a recent atk test to do one there, before going into the building

I was there last week.

I had to fill out a form, show vaccine proof, and pictures of self atk on my phone. I am not saying all that was required, but they did ask and check.
