Hello everyone, I applied for a DTV visa in Ho Chi Minh City through Muay Thai training.

Recently, I received a second request for additional documents.

However, I am currently unemployed and not working at the moment.

For the first document request, I already submitted proof that I receive monthly rental income in Korea, as well as a bank balance certificate showing that I have enough financial resources to support myself without working.

Even after submitting those documents, I still received this email. Could you please advise me on what additional documents I should prepare or submit?

They want to see your last 6 months of transactions through your bank account, and the 500K sitting in there for that time period. Number 2 is pretty self explanatory. Number 3, If you've got income from some rental property then they want to see this, and see that you are legit, declaring income and paying tax. Likely copies of rental contracts with your current tenants, and contracts with past tenants. I'd suggest you create a brief cover letter stating that you're not employed per se but that you have this rental business that provides you with a sufficient income stream. Then supply all the documentation to show that it's genuine and sufficient. Not everyone's income stream is going to fit into a square box, So you're going to have to succinctly outline how exactly it works for you. The 500K funding is emergency money. You're going to have to show them you have bundles of other cash to live on. Get creative, briefly outline your scenario and present whatever documents you need to show it's alive and legit. It's been proven time and time and again that an organized, well laid out, understandable set of documents with bullet points/explanation has a high approval rate.

Seems they are definitely tightening up. A guy applying in UK recently was asked to show how they will support themselves for a year while doing Muay Thai
