Any known issues doing back to back Land Border Crossings at Mae Sai? I intend to enter+extend enter+extend and be in the country for 4 consecutive months. (Of course I am aware of the rule of 2 per calendar year.)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the feasibility of making back-to-back land border crossings at Mae Sai to extend a stay in Thailand for four consecutive months. Users comment that while it is possible to do this, one should be cautious of utilizing the two 30-day visa exempt entries allowed per calendar year. Additionally, if there is an existing Extension of Stay in the passport, it must be cancelled at Immigration before departing.
Okay, that sounds like a good plan and no problem witht the Extension of Sta on your tourist visa, no need to cancel that first, it will be automatically cancelled at the border when leaving. Safe travels.
My situation: entered Thailand with TR visa (issued in Bali). Rcvd a re-entry permit and Exited Thailand at CNX. Reentered and stamped back in CNX with my original TR exit date. I now am about to extend my TR for an additional 30 days in MHS. Then, I intend to do the 2 back to back Land Border Crossings as my way to finish my trip to Thailand with no return planned.
It must be cancelled at the Immigration Office who stamped it inside your passport and with documentation why it has to be cancelled. Like in case of study a letter from the school, in case of work the cancel documents of the Work Permit, in case of marriage the divorce papers etc
You're last question was about using the re-entry permit, most of the time that is used by people staying inside Thailand on an Extension Stay, I do not know your current active stay, only mention IF this is an Extension of Stay it has to be cancelled before you go to this border checkpoint.
Robert Lagas can you please elaborate on this? How does a canceled extension effect me traveling in country to get to the border? Or would I do this at the Mae Sai border when stamping out of Thailand?
