What are the best practices for taking a selfie for a Thai visa application to ensure acceptance?

I’m applying via the London Embassy. I’m worried about the selfie required and it being rejected. Would anybody mind sharing the selfie they used and had their application accepted, please. I just want to ensure mine is meeting the standards.

Honestly just buy one of the passport photo apps for 9£ or so , than we followed the guidelines and everything was approved asap

Mine was a an iPhone selfie, but made sure the background was plain. Luckily I have grey painted walls.

Make sure it's a good quality photo. My first was rejected as part of an additional document request

OPMy first application was cancelled and I believe it was due to the photograph, which was also a part of additional request. It was a professional one but I’ve been advised that it’s best to use a mobile phone.

Asking FB strangers to upload selfies.... really not a good idea. Contact the embassy if you're that worried.

It's a scam 4 photos rejected everything else accepted! Photos were from a visa photo company in the UK that I paid for!

I sent them a jumbo image from a photo machine at boots, expensive but seemed to work as they rejected the passport photo that I got done in Thailand 😝
