Looking for the fastest turnaround, least friction DTV process (workcation):

Taipei

Hanoi

Abu Dhabi

What’s your experience? How many days?

Is there another obvious option I’m missing?

I’m a Brit, in SE Asia with UAE residency.

Thank you in advance! ❤️

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the quickest and least complicated process for obtaining a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) from locations like Taipei, Hanoi, and Abu Dhabi, focusing on the experience of a British expat currently residing in Southeast Asia with UAE residency. Responses highlight the potential for fast approvals in Taipei (same-day or five days online) and Hanoi, and suggest considering alternative locations like Jakarta and other nearby countries. Some comments also advise on the possibility of applying from the home country for quicker processing.

Why not just apply in your country?

Neighbouring countries take too many applicants and won't reply you fast enough sometimes

I applied in my home country and got accepted in 5 days

Good luck :)

Are you going workcation or soft power? I think workcation takes a bit more time because of the amount of paperwork/proof.

For me Taipei same day approval with in person application. Nowadays it's online and takes around 5 business days. Vietnam can be similar if you on point with your application.Check a recent post from someone approved in that timeframe. Indonesia, Laos are great options
