TLDR : Answer Summary
The community seeks information on obtaining Digital Nomad Visas (DTVs) in neighboring countries and shares experiences from various locations. Comments mention Taiwan as a viable option with same-day approval; however, applicants must be thorough with paperwork. Another commenter recounts a smooth four-day process in Hanoi, emphasizing the enjoyment of local cuisine. One suggestion is to secure the DTV in the applicant's home country to avoid complications and potential delays at embassies. Overall, leveraging past experiences can provide useful insights into the visa application process.

And you just have to find the Thai embassy and apply?

Get the DTV in your homecountry, and avoid the hassle with Embassies that can't recognice the supporting documents.

It will also be cheaper to stay with your family, for the duration of the visa proces, instead of sitting and wait in a 3. country.
