What are the best deals for cell phone service.

I have my own phone, I will need a number in my name for my visa. I'm in the khon kaen area. I don't need unlimited data. I don't mind paying for a year in advance if it saves money. Thanks.

Answer summary

The best deals for cell phone service in Khon Kaen vary, with several options available. It was noted that both AIS and True offer competitive plans. AIS users mentioned paying around 200 baht per month without running out of data. True also provides a plan at 299 baht for unlimited data for 30 days. Some users suggested looking into annual plans or monthly deals based on usage. Recommendations included checking online for current promotions and exploring options like True's immortal plans that offer flexibility for one, three, or twelve months.

AIS, True, are all good. Look them up online to see deals, then make your own decision.

I'm with AIS and pay 200 baht a month, and I never run out of data. I find that with the unlimited data package, they tend to throttle the speed if you use a lot of data.
