TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking recommendations for reliable agents to assist with the DTV visa application process in Thailand due to slow responses from their current agent. Several comments suggest options such as Issa Compass, encourage self-application, and highlight the importance of the correct documents for specific activities like Muay Thai training. Users share their personal experiences, emphasizing the ease of applying on one’s own and cautioning against potential scams from agencies. Recommendations include specific gyms and advice on documentation needed for a DTV visa, particularly for digital nomads or those engaging in Muay Thai.
Do it yourself, it’s straightforward, just make sure you have 500k min THB or equivalent and the gym is officially accredited by The Thai government
If you meet the requirements, read the official website, you will be approved providing you have submitted a correctly filled online application usual with 7-10 working days (slower around Thai Public Holidays)

What's your passport nation?
What DTV visa purpose are you wanting to apply for? Soft power activity? Which one? Or Workation as a digital nomad?
I am a digital nomad but I also am training Muay Thai although the gym I’m at I’m not sure it’s a registered one as I’m in Koh Samui they’re limited
I’ll be applying in Hanoi or Jakarta
And never applied before nope !

DTV soft power route accepted via London today🥳🥳🥳
Applied Monday evening 10pm. Tuesday 10am request for more documents. 1am this morning received an email of approved visa.
Highly reccomend Dowden Muay Thai in Koh Samui. I messaged them on instagram and they was very helpful throughout the whole process. They said they have only just started doing the DTV visa and have had less than 5 apply so far. They was very thorough and helpful. Would highly recommend. Wasn’t requested anymore Muay Thai docs so what they gave me first time round was plenty.

Anonymous participant it's vitally important to have the correct documents from the Muay Thai training gym to obtain the DTV visa. Choose the Thai Embassy or Consulate where the gym recommends and read the posts about getting the DTV visa for Muay Thai training from Hanoi or Jakarta.
I'm sure others who have been successful will reply to your post too.
Use the search 🔍 tool top of the forum page to find the posts about Hanoi and Jakarta.
ENTER Hanoi Muay Thai
CLICK on it and all posts will Pop Up to read
Do the same for Jakarta..
Good Luck 🍀 and please report back what happened 🤞🤞

Anonymous participant provide details of how your business operates online, submit your business registration, evidence of income, write a letter to yourself giving permission for you to work in Thailand remotely. A lot of posts to help you apply yourself.
Its easy to do it yourself and you wont get scammed by a agency. All the info you need on this page.

Check out Issa Compass, it's a software company that automates the application process, not a recommendation, just a suggestion, apparently they have a good success rate
same here. And it’s WAY cheaper than any other agent. It’s good insurance for your application fee too. They’ll redo it for free or give a refund if you don’t get it
