Hi.  Sorry to bother you all with my question but it's the first time I'm doing this.  I need to fly to Penang Malaysia to obtain another tourist visa from the consulate as I've been red stamped in loas.  My question is.. Does anyone know of a good agency that can do the application on my behalf and what is the cost involved.... Thanks for the info.....

I have yes...... I'm waiting on paper work to do a non o visa and my son is Thai.... But the ampur is taking its precious time to get the original birth certificate back to me... Hence I need to go to Malaysia

You can use Jim's Place guest house run by Jim Tachinamurthy.

Be advised that the thai consulate in Penang is closed Wednesday the 18th.

You are asking questions that are close to the edge of what we allow. :/

If you are asked you must show proof of onward travel within 30 days when entering on a 30 visa exempt stamp.

BUT how you go about getting a document that states you're leaving thailand in 30 days is up to you ;)

I used a place just down from jims. 1900b total. My 5th tourist visa. Asked if they reckoned i could get a 6th. No problem was their answer. But remember. Proof of accommodation, proof of founding return ticket out of penang, and out of thai in January

Nope, not hardly any issues other than the overstay fine of 500 baht a day and the stamp.
