Good morning. I just realized that immigration is closed tomorrow and my covid extension expires on 26th September. Is it possible for me to do another covid visa extension on Monday (27th)? Or do i have to go today?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they can apply for a COVID-19 visa extension on September 27th after realizing that immigration offices will be closed on September 24th. Comments clarify that the last day to apply without incurring a fine is September 27th, despite immigration being closed on the 26th. Additionally, specific requirements for the extension are outlined, including the necessary documentation and fees.

I'm closing comments.
1. IF you're using Bangkok Immigration (Changwattana or Muangthong Thani) they will be closed tomorrow, but OPEN on Saturday. If you are NOT using either one of those two immigration offices, the next time they will be open is Monday.
2. The latest *YOU* can file a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 without going on overstay is September 27. You WILL get an overstay stamp, but the fine will be waived because the immigration office was closed.
3. Regarding the requirements for the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19:
Different immigration offices have different requirements, but all require the following:
1. Your passport and:
a. a copy of your data ("picture") page
b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)
c. a copy of your most recent stamp
d. a copy of your departure card
2. [May NOT be requested for Bangkok] A TM30, filed in the immigration office.
3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and want to use their special forms)
4. [NOT required for Bangkok Immigration] A letter from your embassy saying you can not return, OR a print out from your embassy website saying they don’t issue the letters, OR a print out of a letter from the embassy saying they don't issue those letters.
i just was at MTT today and asked FOUR different staff members (in two different sections) and they said they're closed tomorrow (friday) but open on Saturday at both MTT and C/W.
27th is the day he would be on overstay but doesn't have to pay a fine. the last day is the 26th or the latest day on or before 26th when the immigration office is open for OP to stay legal, not on overstay - Today in most provinces and 25th in Bangkok.
September 27th. A stamp will be put in the passport saying “overstay fine waived because of office closure”.

Thanks a lot. I'm gonna go today. The reason why i was thinking going on Monday was because i was waiting for the embassy to send me the letter but i just got it now. Thanks a lot!
