Nvm it's a scam but maybe you could technically use it as an accredited degree but I'm not paying to find out.

An online degree isn’t accepted for teaching purposes. Sorry it has to be an attended course.

They won't know. So an online course will work fine.

Plenty of major universities offer online degrees, you receive the exact same degree as if you attended in person

The degree does matter as if your degree is linked to your work then you need to show fewer years work experience than having a degree in media studies and working as an engineer, as an example.

Definitely, but i dislike it, i initially studied it due to that exact reason but the money ain't worth selling my soul. Teaching can be boring definitely, didn't intend on becoming a teacher or even being here in Thailand(Life) don't like kids all that much but hy my hrs ain't bad at all so i have time to do other things which i wouldn't if i was doing a regular 9 to 5 IT gig, sure i could concentrate and eventually get the

work to pay but again it ain't worth it, for me at least... Plus i have grown to enjoy teaching n i like most of my children, it's kinda cool seeing all these little people who will one day be big people going through all the same humdrum(my mother actually told me to study teaching n i was the usual indifferent teenager, took me 5 yrs n much mistakes to realize maybe i should've listened to her:) hindsight huh.

Well yea in a normal scenario sure but i want it just so I'll be viable for a work permit so i can teach either here or in any other country and not fret over finding a loophole. Don't plan on going back into the IT field any time soon.

There's much more money in IT than English teaching though. Plus English teaching can be incredibly boring.
