Im planning on moving to Bangkok in the beginning of June and I’m thinking about getting a non-immigrant O visa. I’m wondering what’s a good program to obtain the correct certification?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the user's plan to move to Bangkok in June and inquiries about obtaining a non-immigrant O visa, particularly for teaching purposes. The comments express concerns about the legality of teaching without the proper qualifications, emphasizing the necessity of having at least a university degree and certification such as TEFL to work as a teacher. They advise against working on a tourist visa and suggest exploring alternate job opportunities if the necessary qualifications aren't met.
If you do not have a university degree you can not legally teach in Thailand, no matter what courses you might take thinking you can. The degree also must be certified as being real, so you can not buy a fake on KhaoSan road anymore to meet that requirement.
those rules only apply to "schools", one can teach at a language center and what not without a university degree. There are no obligations or hard fast rules that apply to these types of institutions.
there is a hard fast rule in getting the work permit to legally do it though. The labor board requires a university degree to teach, with very few exceptions.
Might not want to advertise the fact you'll be working without the correct visa. If you're looking for a teaching role you need a degree as a minimum with TEFL or similar qualifications. Depending on what country you're from there are loads of options online and in UK definitely tons available face to face to ensure you are a competent and confident teacher. If you're serious about teaching and not a qualified teacher, I'd suggest getting as much experience and training before you actually start to attempt children or adults. Well paid jobs are given if you're suitably qualified at a high level in international schools 🙏🏽
