TLDR : Answer Summary
Community members share their varied experiences with COVID-19 testing during Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) in Thailand, focusing on discomfort during the procedure. Opinions range from positive experiences with gentle nurses to painful encounters where tests felt invasive. Some recommend specific ASQs due to professional medical staff, while others reflect on the mixed nature of their experiences, mentioning both throat and nasal tests.

I stayed at Qiu for my ASQ and they did 4 tests and went 3+ inches deep in both nostrils as well as swabbed my throat.. each time. It was pretty shitty but I think my brains ok. 😂 I have to say the pcr tests I got back in the US were easier. They were similar in depth but the people doing them were much gentler.

Just had my first one in ASQ this morning. They went further up my nose than I thought possible lol
Polish company Genomtec invented PCR test where they only need saliva. No schab into the brain or other bullshit

yes exactly. i had a similar experience at ASQ in Vertical Suites, connected hospital was Chularat 3 International Hospital. Unfortunately those included both nose and throat swabs and i hate the throat ones.
