Hi all, a question about transiting at Suvarnabhumi.
Arriving around 9am from Laos with connecting flight on Turkish only at 11pm. 14 hours transit!
Seems Miracle rooms are closed (former Louis Tavern). Any other room/lounge options for non-biz travellers? Any Spas open where one could nap for a few hours?
Thanks for any relevant advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about options for spending a long layover at Suvarnabhumi Airport, including available lounges and spas, given that Miracle rooms are closed. Several replies suggest that certain lounges may still be open (like the Miracle Lounge) while also highlighting that transit regulations depend on whether the flights are on a single ticket or two separate ones. If on separate tickets, the user may need to go through immigration and meet additional requirements like obtaining a Thailand Pass and arranging for a PCR test.
The ONLY way you can transit in Bangkok is if you have a through booking on a single itinerary that includes all of your bags and everything.
If you need to collect your baggage and/or leave the airside area to check in to your next flight, it won't be possible. That means you have to go through immigration and meet all entry requirements for Thailand.
This includes having $20,000 insurance, applying for and receiving a Thailand Pass, and booking one night in an SHA Extra Plus hotel where you will be taken to immediately after clearing immigration, and a PCR test to be performed at the hotel or on the way there. You will then be locked in your room and cannot leave until your test results come back negative which can take 6-24 hours. If they come back positive you'll be required to isolate in the hotel or a hospitel for 10 days minimum.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but flights from Laos are not through bookings. Don't worry about the airport, you're going to get spending a night at a quarantine hotel waiting for your test results!
Lao Airlines just confirmed transit allowed for certain airlines and they will check me through!

Are your flights all on one ticket or two separate tickets?
I donโt want you have any nasty surprises when trying to board to BKK

I have been looking into this extensively lately, I am in Thailand and want to visit Singapore and I wanted to fly back from SIN and the same day my flight returns to the UK, have been told by several sources as itโs on two separate tickets I cannot do it without applying for a Thaipass as I am not classed as a transit passenger
just been to Lao Airlines to get my ticket and they confirmed that they can check through for selected airlines, including TK which I'm on. Phew, panic over!
is a problem now I am sorry to say. You will need to apply for a Thai pass (double check as I am not sure if there are separate rules for Laos) or they wonโt let you on the plane to Bangkok
But my understanding of you are on separate tickets you will have to pass through immigration and customs and to do that you need a Thaipass
