TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeking advice on applying for a DTV Visa in Chicago inquires about additional document requirements. They currently possess a passport, a clear photo, a bank account with $15,000, a driver's license, an employment certificate, and a professional portfolio proving their ability to work remotely. Community members respond with suggestions, indicating that $15,000 might be insufficient, as some experienced applicants were asked for $16,000. They recommend including all passport pages in a PDF, submitting the most recent income tax return, and considering the need for an International Driver's Permit (IDP).

Put all the pages in your passport and merge into one pdf and compress as only allowed 3mb in each section. I used ‘I love pdf’

You could also be asked to submit your most recent income tax return.

You might also want to get an IDP International Driver's Permit to drive legally in Thailand

correct ✅ and Best to have MORE,as I have seen $17,000 required in prior posts.

"The financial requirement for the DTV visa at the Thai Consulate in Chicago is a minimum of 500,000 Thai Baht (approximately $16,000 USD) in a savings or checking account. This must be demonstrated through a recent bank statement showing the account holder's name and date. The statement should be no older than 7 days from the visa application submission date. If applying from a country other than your home country, financial documents may need to be translated into English and certified by a government agency. "
