TLDR : Answer Summary
When arriving at Thai immigration with a Non-O retirement visa, it is recommended to present the visa in printed paper form rather than relying on an electronic PDF stored on a mobile device. Embassy instructions emphasize the importance of handing over the printed visa alongside your passport to avoid potential issues, such as being mistakenly stamped with a 60-day visa exempt stamp. Additionally, it's advised to always check your passport after immigration for the correct stamp and keep the printed visa with you, as it may be needed frequently.

Print it and always keep it in your passport. You'll be surprised how often you'll need it.

The embassy instructions are to print out the visa and hand it over with your passport. Without the printed visa, the immigration officer may make a mistake and stamp you in with a 60 day visa exempt stamp, since that's mostly what they do all day.

And ALWAYS check your passport after leaving passport control to ensure you received the correct stamp. It's very easy to fix then and there, and very difficult if not impossible to fix later.
