Thai cooking schools normally offer 6 to 12-month courses. On their pages, they always recommend 12-month courses for higher credibility in visa application.
Shall I opt for 6 or 12 months? With 6 months I could fail the visa application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When considering a Thai cooking school for visa purposes, students often weigh the options between 6-month and 12-month courses. While schools generally recommend 12-month courses for greater credibility in visa applications, some have successfully obtained visas with shorter durations. The success of a 6-month course in securing a visa may depend on the application location, with some regions being more lenient than others.

If you apply in Tokyo or KL then it could be true, elsewhere 6 months are considered enough and some even got it with just 3 months (even tho I wouldn't recommend it)
