TLDR : Answer Summary
There is currently no official limit on the number of entries by air under the new 60-day on arrival program in Thailand. However, it is subject to the discretion of the immigration officer at the entry point. Repeated short entries could be allowed, but there is always a risk of being questioned or denied entry if the officer suspects misuse of the system. It's suggested to avoid overuse of this entry option.

I think you could stay in Thailand for nearly a year on this ..but have a gap between going and coming etc ..enjoy your stay ๐Ÿ’“

There was no limit by air before the 60 day entry. And that has not changed. Enjoy

There is no official limit, but you can't stay forever on those exemptions. But if you'd stay only shortly every time you could enter many more than two times in a calendar year easily.

Officially no but always to the discretion of the immigration officer you face, meaning don't milk the system.

It is up to the Immigration Officer holding your passport and looking at your stay history as it has always been

Have you taken the 30 day extension on your previous visits? If not you should be ok unless you spent most of last year in Thailand on tourist stamps.

No brother. Got to hua hin July 8th. First time ever coming. We don't really want to go back and set things up before we left to not have to. So planning to visit Malaysia next week before our original 30 days are up come back on a new 60 since it took effect, go to bali for a week when that 60 runs out then come back for another 60.

After thar we head hone to the states sell the rest of our property and come back on dtv

Explore the area so the travel is just a perk to us and not just a border bounce. That is my reasoning for border bounce over extension but if there is a better reason in terms of immigration I would

my main reason for saying it is that extensions are usually given without question whereas entry is at the discretion of the immigration officer you stand in front of

There is no limit written into law. You can do it until you can't. If the immigration officers feel like you are abusing the system or trying to live in Thailand without getting a long-term visa, they will eventually pull you out of line and grill you, followed by a warning or possibly even being denied entry. How many entries or how long in Thailand this would happen after is dependent upon each immigration officer and how they interpret the rules and your past history in Thailand.
