TLDR : Answer Summary
There is no specific time limit after marrying a Thai national for them to apply for a visa to visit England. Thai nationals generally need to secure a UK Visitor Visa to visit. While marriage can help in the visa application process, it doesn't guarantee approval; documentation proving ties to Thailand and the ability to return are crucial. Additionally, applying for a Spouse Visa may be a more straightforward option, with current income requirements for sponsors increasing from £18,600 to £29,000 in April 2024.

she needs to pass a language test, I believe. After this, it really doesn't matter, she can follow you on step . . "family reunion". At least that's how the Schengen countries handle it. Sorry but maybe after Brexit, different rules might apply for U.K. weds
but the OP is only looking for a visit not to stay

Maybe wait a bit because I read Thailand and UK are busy to arrange Thai can come visa exempt. Keep track of the news. And yes, marriage does not matter. They want her to go back to Thailand so you have to find a lot of reasons / prove , why...

Don't need to be married at all

Probably more difficult to get a tourism visa if you're married. They'll think you're trying to get her into the UK so she can stay there
ironic isn't it. Who in their right minds would want to stay in that heroin infested cesspit of a country. Who do they think they are?

Will soon be applying for visa for my thai wife and I to visit family in the UK as we are both in our late 60s and retired will we still have to provide documents about her finances and income
If you can pay for her then you will be her sponsor therefore she won’t need financials. If you are staying with family you might need an invitation letter to support where you will be residing whilst there.
It’s a good idea to take out an insurance policy in case she falls ill for the time you’ll be in the Uk.
You just need to satisfy them she won’t be a burden on the state and leave when you say you’ll leave.
I would never bring a Thai girl to visit America because it is very dangerous. People are rude and obnoxious. The same should be applied to England. That country is uninhabitable. Bad weather, food, expensive, and I had to watch Peaky Binders for a few hours just to get use to their English accent.
This means that someone whose fiancé(e), partner or spouse applies for a visa before 11 April 2024 will only need to demonstrate a minimum income of £18,600 per year.
British people who want to sponsor a foreign spouse or partner for a visa must normally earn £18,600 a year. This minimum income requirement is increasing to £29,000 in April 2024 and further rises are planned
From April 11, 2024, the income requirement for first-time Spouse Visa applicants will rise to £29,000, with anticipated increases to £34,500 and £38,700 in the future. I brought my ex to London on a spouse visa 20 years ago; it was as cheap as ****, and she is still there.

Did you follow the uk gov guidelines or marrying a Thai national? Affirmation of marriage documents etc? You should do homework first. A little late now.

No there is no time limit before you can apply, but be aware being married doesn’t guarantee it will be easy for her to be granted the visa.

Applying for a visitor visa to the UK is a complicated process for Thai people, as it requires a lot of documentation, including bank statements. Applying for a spouse visa is a more straightforward option and for sure, he or she will get it. There is no time limit.

He or she will need a UK visa to visit England. The UK Spouse Visa is the best option after marrying.

No. And there's no requirement to be married for a UK Visitor visa.
