For those on a current first year O-A, do I need to have copies of anything for re entry to Thailand? Last TM30? Health insurance copy? (Will be the same one and same dates used initially) or is that all in the system and just need passport and TDAC?
Answer summary
When re-entering Thailand with a first year O-A visa, you will need to present your passport, the TDAC (Thai Visa Application), and a copy of your health insurance certificate. Even if the documents were previously submitted, it's advisable to have all copies ready in case they are requested by immigration officials. Ensure you understand whether your visa is single or multiple entry, as this affects the requirement for a re-entry permit when leaving Thailand.

Are you on a single or multiple entry? If single and have used it you need to purchase a re entry permit prior to exiting Thailand. If you return without this your O-A in invalid.

OP
John Villinger still in my first year, so it is by default multi entry(within your initial 12 months).Questions were geared towards whether I need to submit documents that immigration already have, and it appears i do.

My visa letter displays my initial insurance term limit, it was presented along with my insurance policy and certificate when arriving in Thailand, and my current end date is in October. One might think that all of thos would be on file and not needed again until i get a new insurance end date (current stamp is october, restamp october when I return).

This apparently is not the case. Not a big inconvenience, and will be sure to have what i need and avoid issues on my return.

Wont need to worry about a re entry permit until my inital OA is expired

Also be aware that if you leave during the 2nd year of the OA you need a re-entry permit.

I always have a copy of all documents in case they are requested by immigration officer.
