Hi, tomorrow i will ask my company for the allowance to work in Thailand as a Digital Nomad. After i start to ask for the DTV Visa. I plan to fly in the second half of the year 2025. Is there any problem when i do it early in the next year? When do i have to fly latest when i fly in second half year of 2025? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for the Digital Nomad Visa in Thailand up to 3 months before your planned arrival date. Once the visa is issued, it has a validity of 5 years during which you can enter Thailand at any time. If you plan to fly in the second half of 2025, ensure you make your visa application no more than 3 months prior to your arrival.

I think I kinda understand your question, pls ignore if I'm wrong. It's true that the visa is valid for 5 years, but from what I apply which is Hanoi, Viet Nam embassy, you can only apply maximum 3 months before your estimated arrival date.

nobody will check this when you actually have the visa, but when you tell them in your application you expect to travel second half next year, there is a big chance they just cancel your application and you loose your money.

This is quite vague tbh because I apply via e-visa so they only require us to fill in an "Expected" date of arrival and departure only. You could easily fill in a unreal date because it's an "expected date" only, it's not a sure thing. If later on they ask for booking confirmation/receipt, you can just book a hotel/airbnb that allows you to cancel.

Once issued you can enter any time in its 5 year validity.
