We're flying (four Americans) to Cambodia on July 4 from Don Muang. Is there a place to do re-entry permits at Don Muang?

Yes. At Don Muang Airport, There is a room/counter for re-entry permits and overstay fine AFTER the passport control, before going through the security screening. Don't forget to tell to the immigration officer at passport control you need a re-entry permit. Fee is same.
