that’s why I asked. I’ve never done it before, and we’re leaving from Samui via international departures. Thanks for the input ( albeit a bit pedantic) I’ll find a different route to advise me going forward 👍

When you're getting your stamp to leave Thailand, tell the officer that you need to purchase a re-entry permit and they will point you in the right direction and make sure an officer is available there for you.
