Is there a new law requiring a 400,000 baht deposit for a baby visa extension in Thailand?
Hi, pls I need adive.is it true that anyone going for extension of baby visa must deposit 400000 baht for two months into his/her account.is it a new law from immigration? Am aware that the money is involved but not for two months,am trying to knw if there is a change of law

There is NO seasoning requirement for the 400K baht when using the banked money method to meet the financial requirements for a yearly extension for raising half thai children. The current Police Order in effect is

For the Extension of Stay you must be the legal parent. If the baby is born out of wedlock, you need the papers from Family court that you're the legal father.
