Is there a city in Thailand that offers a full 60-day COVID visa extension without requiring a 30-day extension first?

I see that some cities give 30 instead of the 60 day covid extension first. Is there a city in which gives the full 60 days without having to return?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question inquires whether any city in Thailand provides the full 60-day COVID extension without needing to first obtain a 30-day extension. Users commented that all immigration offices have a standard procedure of issuing a COVID extension, but the initial extension may require a 30-day approval before the 60-day extension is granted.

You must do the 30 day extension first

the January amendment included a number of additions, some of which were rolled back on in March.

all my 8 covid extensions have cost 1900THB each

some places offer “expedited” extensions for 3000, or guaranteed ones for 10,000, the documents they each require can be quite different as well.

Not even sure what point you’re trying to make at this point or how it’s relevant to what the basic question is 🤷‍♂️

If you want to be ripped off by visa agents, it's totally your choice. But don't criticise those who do things without paying bribes

I’m not talking about visa agents, I’m talking about immigration officers.

I’m not even sure what you think is being criticized but the point being made looks like it has nothing to do with the actual question being asked.

If you don’t know or don’t understand then you don’t have to reply you can just keep scrolling 🙃

I think I know more about how immigration works in Thailand than you ever will, but please don't let this stop you from making inane comments. The "expedited" or "guaranteed' extensions are bribes. It's that simple

that’s not what his question is, he’s talking about the “under consideration stamp” which can be 14 or 30 days, and I’ve gotten Covid extensions without doing the standard 30 day extension.

There’s no standard procedure

No matter what you say, the current policy is you must do the 30-day extension first before you get the covid extension. There is NO 30-day covid extension

if I remember correctly the current iteration of the covid extension includes a clause stating that the normal 30 day extension needs to be done first

it’s always been like that but each office seems to do it a bit differently

the clause was added earlier this year, it hasn't always been like that

I remember them emphasizing some of the rules especially when they were trying to discourage the Covid extensions being abused but I’m pretty sure I’m remember last year it being technically the same. I’ve had 3 Covid extensions and the process and paperwork no two were the same. I’m sure there’s offices now where you could get a Covid extension without the standard 30 day extension, but you’ll probably pay more.

Still a likely irrelevant point given it sounds like he’s asking about the full Covid extension vs getting a 30 day “under consideration stamp”, but the English is a little broken

I believe every immigration office is issueing the covid extension with an under consideration period now. The only thing different between the offices is how long the waiting period is.
