Is the visa cancelation counter at Chang Wattana normally really busy? On Monday 30th I have to cancel my Non-O and then fly straight out, so I am trying to work out what time to book my flight from Don Muang.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The visa cancellation counter at Chang Wattana can be quite busy, especially during peak hours. Based on experiences shared by users, it is advisable to arrive early in the morning to avoid long wait times, as visiting later in the day can result in longer queues. Some users reported a quick process, taking around 10 minutes during non-peak times, while others noted that the office has been increasingly crowded in recent weeks. For those needing to cancel their Non-O visa quickly, booking an afternoon flight after ensuring they have ample time for cancellation is recommended.

if you have a extension of stay with multiple reentry permit than Chaeng Watana can cancel for you. A Visa itself can not be cancelled. If you just have a extension of stay than you can leave the country and it will be voided.
At this point I would not lie and say no. But when I did go an cancel my visa 2 months ago. I was in and out within 10 minutes.
But the past 2 weeks have been chaos there. So if you do go. Get there very very early. Put something in the queue to save your spot and go for coffee. Then you will get in and out quickly. But to be safe. Book an afternoon flight.
The good thing is that the queue for cancelling visas is very short. N2 queue. Not many people there.
