Is the TM30 Registration Still Required for Extension of Stay in Thailand?

Wife and kids are due for the yearly extension of stay in Chaengwattana (education kids, guardian wife) I am preparing the documents. I wanted to retrieve from the app the TM30 registration but it seems the app doesn’t update any longer and therefore I cannot access the information. Has anything changed? Is the TM30 still compulsory for obtaining an extension of stay? If it is and I cannot access the app any longer is there an alternative way? Thanks for the help!
