Is the Thai embassy in Vietnam still processing DTV visas for third-party nationals?
I have been hearing that the Thai embassy in Vietnam may no longer be processing DTV visas for third party nationals (UK, USA citizens). Does any one know if this is the case?

It's actually the right way to go. Why should any embassy in a particular country grant visa to a non-resident applicant to live in a 3rd party country?

There is some centralized processing done by both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Immigration Bureau but the staff at whatever consular office you submit your application to will do the bulk of the work with regards to processing your application. You can still be asked to physically present yourself to the Embassy/Consulate in order to attend an interview or, in some limited cases, physically pay the application fee in cash.

Ignore him, he himself says it is anecdotal and not corroborated. Posters are calling him out for going OTT over a FB post and spinning it to suit his dislike of the DTV which has taken clients away from his business.
