Yes it is. It's one of the only places that do it. Over 65 with a state pension. No reports that they have stopped issuing them.

I know of other nationalities that have that visa Ron.

People that have applied haven't seemed to have a problem. It's a visa that is basically only available to UK citizens under that criteria. If your 65 and receiving a state pension, you'll have no problem getting it.
